Chime at 3 months
Chime - Water series WC Test Summer
2006
Chime is released during WC land series Summer 2006
Trained and handled by Donna LaHaise
Chime is from the second Dalry litter. She is a real spitfire, loves to
work and loves to play. She's very serious about her "jobs" and
learns new concepts easily. Her high drive and work ethic make her
a joy to train and compete with. She spent 4 months with Donna
LaHaise of Ottawa in the summer of 2006 and came home with
both a Junior Hunter title and a Working Certificate Excellent title.
Chime finished her CKC championship with a 5 point BOW, in a
very big and highly competitive entry at the Sporting Dog Club of
BC show held in conjunction with the 2007 Toller National and
Sporting Dog Spectacular. As well, she came home with two Novice
obedience legs and two Novice agility legs. Chime finished her CD
with a High in Trial award on May 3, 2008, score of 194. She got a
second in class in the next trial, with a score of 191, for an
insurance leg. The completion of her CD qualified Chime for a
Dobirstein Award.
Chime's AAC Q's continue to rack up. On the 2010 Victoria Day
weekend we completed the requirements for the Advanced Agility
Dog of Canada title and also came home with our first Masters
Standard Q, a couple of Masters Snooker Q's and another Masters
Gamblers Q. It was a really great weekend.
On December 29/07 Chime passed her third Rally Novice leg
(CARO) with a really nice score of 195/200, which was also the HIT
score. The next day she got her first Advanced leg with another
nice score of 190. Chime was three for three for her Novice title
with scores of 197, 196 and 195. You can watch Chime's first
Advanced run here:

Chime completed the requirements for her Rally Excellent (CARO)
title on March 13, 2009, with scores of 191, 198 and 196. All were
High in Class scores. We achieved the CARO Bronze Lifetime award
in April 2010. All qualifying scores for the CRB must be 190+ from
the Excellent and Advanced C Stream classes.
Chime and I competed at the 2009 National Specialty in Kitchener.
We finished her Agility Novice title, got two legs in Jumpers with
Weaves and I was thrilled when she made the first cut in Best of
Breed competition and was awarded 3rd in a very competitive Gun
Dog (Female) class.
At the 2010 Sporting Dog Spectacular Chime and I put in six
qualifying Rally runs to complete both her Novice and Advanced
CKC Rally titles. Two of those runs were "unofficial" High in Trial
awards. We also completed the requirements for her AAC Masters
Games Dog title a week earlier with two Q's in Masters Snooker
and one each in Masters Jumpers and Masters Gamblers.
In September 2006 she was
bred to Multi-BIS CKC/AKC/Int'l
Ch. OtCh. Berdia's Mississippi
Gambler SH WCX. She was a
great mom to her four boys and
one girl. All were an
improvement over their dam and
I expect great things from
them. Mary-Ellen Kelm's Rusty is
competing in obedience, rally
and agility.Gary Lobley's Abbey
is a strong duck hunter. Sue
Maile's Sting finished his AKC
championship in June 2009 and
is currently in training for agility.
Lona O'Reilly and Rowdy are
actively competing in AAC agility.

Chime will be bred to Sue Kish's HIT Ch. Redadict's Road Runner CDX WCX SH
(Josh) in late 2010. High drive, biddable puppies are expected and reservations
are strongly recommended.
